d-itg software package provides Distributed Internet Traffic Generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install d-itg
d-itg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the d-itg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep d-itg *
You will get with d-itg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
